UCI Law Student Newsletter January 9 - January 15
Announcements and Deadlines

This is the first SLATE of the semester and year.

Return to Campus: As Chancellor Gillman wrote yesterday, in-person classes will now resume on Monday, January 31. Pending the return to in-person instruction campus remains open and fully operational. The Law Library is open. Daily staffed library hours are available here. The California Room is open 24 hours a day.

Review the email forwarded by Dean Kyle Jones on Monday, January 3 to ensure you are in compliance with the protocols implemented to resume in-person learning, which include the following:

  • Get your booster as soon as you are eligible, then upload the verification through the Student or Occupational Health portals. Boosters will be required for all eligible staff, faculty and students by January 31, 2022.
  • Resident Students: You should carefully plan your campus arrival to accommodate the testing protocol. To attend in-person classes, you will need to arrive with enough time to initiate the seven-day protocol.
  • Commuter Students: Test within 72 hours of returning to campus at a campus testing site, preferably by scheduling an appointment through the UCI Student Health Center Patient Portal.
