Announcements and Deadlines

Class of 2021 (3Ls and Global LL.M.s):  ASP is offering a new five-part Early Bar-Prep Workshop Series throughout Spring 2021 to help you prepare to take the July 2021 bar exam.  All sessions will be held live via Zoom and recorded & posted on Canvas.  The first session is on Thursday, January 14, at 5:15-6:30 p.m.

Class of 2023Registration is still open for LCLD’s 1L Success in Law School Mentoring Program, which is open to diverse/underrepresented first-year law students nationwide.  LCLD has an overwhelming number of attorneys participating in the program this year and would like very much to match 1Ls with a mentor for the remainder of the academic year.  Register here by January 15.

Class of 2023Registration is still open for PracticePro’s 1L Diversity Scholar Program, a coaching, training, and recruiting program that includes participation in exclusive recruiting receptions or virtual job fairs this spring and summer.  Participants must be a member of a racial, ethnic, or gender group which has been historically underrepresented in the legal profession, a member of the LGBTQ community, or those with a disability.  Visit here to see the steps and required application materials to apply by January 18.

Classes of 2022 and 2023: The ABA Judicial Clerkship Program application deadline is January 11 at 12pm.  See Dean Deol’s email from Thursday, December 17 for application instructions.

Southern California Public Interest Career Day (PICD) registration is now open.  The application deadline is January 27.  For more information, read Dean Deol’s email from Friday, December 18.

CDO Spring Interview Program: See LEO for participating employers and upcoming application deadlines.  For more information read Dean Deol’s email from Friday, January 8.

Class Schedules

Please be sure you verify the time of your classes in the law course catalog. There are a few classes that will show a slight discrepancy between the time in our catalog and the time show in LawReg. This is because we have classes that start and/or end at times that are not currently available in the main campus system. We have asked for those times to be made available and we’ll update as soon as they are. For example, Wills & Trusts meets from 10:05-12:05 (in our catalog), but LawReg has a start time of 10:10. The correct start time is 10:05, as scheduled in our catalog. We used 10:10 to avoid a conflict with classes that end at 10:00am.

Add/Drop Period

The official add/drop period ends at 12pm on Friday, January 22. You have until this deadline to make changes in LawReg to your spring enrollment. This includes adds, drops and changes to grading options (if the class allows the option to choose your grading option).
