Exam Download Deadline for ExamSoft

Please note that for in-person ExamSoft exams, you must download the exam by noon the day before it is scheduled. Failure to download an exam in ExamSoft by noon the day before will leave you with no choice but to use a blue book.

Extended Hours for the Law Library

The library will have extended hours during the reading and exam periods, as follows:
Sunday, April 30: 1:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Monday, May 1 - Thursday, May 4: 7:00 am – 12:00 am
Friday, May 5: 7:00 am – 9:00 pm
Saturday, May 6: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
Sunday, May 7: 1:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Monday, May 8 - Tuesday, May 9: 7:00 am – 12:00 am
Wednesday, May 10: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
Thursday, May 11: - Friday May 12: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

Summer hours begin on Saturday, May 13. In addition, no visitors are allowed during finals. This information is also available on the law library calendar.

MPAA Locker Cleaning
All contents and combination locks must be removed from the lockers on floors 3 and 4 in MPAA by Friday, May 12 at 12:00 pm. Remaining contents and locks will be removed and disposed of.

Legal Research in Practice, MPAA 420
The Law Librarians will offer their 8th annual legal research training in preparation for summer jobs. Choose sessions based on your summer work environment. Coffee and snacks will be provided in the Student Lounge. RSVP at by April 30 so they can tailor the sessions to your job placements and guarantee enough snacks. Get a sneak-peak at their content at For the students who will be doing transactional or international legal work this summer, you are welcome to attend but you may also want to set up an individualized training with a librarian. San Francisco Intellectual Property Law Association Bay Area Job Fair, University of San Francisco
The San Francisco Intellectual Property Law Association (SFIPLA) is one of the oldest and largest intellectual property law associations in the western United States. Only student members of SFIPLA can participate in the job fair. Registration deadline is April 30. For more information, visit here.

13th Annual Bay Area Diversity Career Fair
The Bay Area Diversity Career Fair attracts hiring representatives from the most prominent law firms, government legal departments, and nonprofit organizations. National Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Bar Association Lavender Law Conference and Career Fair, San Francisco
National LGBT Bar Association hosts Lavender Law® Conference and Career Fair to bring together the best and brightest legal minds in LGBT community. The career fair, held on the first day of conference, draws 500+ students and features 130+ recruiters. After the July 15 registration deadline, registration must be done on-site. 2017 John Lewis King Memorial Scholarship Application Deadline
We are pleased to announce that the John Lewis King Memorial Scholarship Fund, co-sponsored and supported by the San Bernardino County Bar Association, is now accepting applications from second and third year law students for the 2017 Scholarship. The deadline for application is Wednesday, July 13, 2017, 5:00 p.m. (please, no exceptions).  At least one $5,000.00 scholarship will be awarded. Multiple scholarships may be awarded, based on the number and quality of applications received. More information here.
