Exam Schedule

The tentative final exam schedule can be found here. Exact room locations and start times will be available on MyCourses by Tuesday, April 25.

Exam Download Deadline for ExamSoft

Please note that for in-person ExamSoft exams, you must download the exam by noon the day before it is scheduled. Failure to download an exam in ExamSoft by noon the day before will leave you with no choice but to use a blue book.

Extended Hours for the Law Library

The library will have extended hours during the reading and exam periods, as follows:

The Law Librarians will offer their 8th annual legal research training in preparation for summer jobs. Choose sessions based on your summer work environment. Coffee and snacks will be provided in the Student Lounge. RSVP at by April 30 so they can tailor the sessions to your job placements and guarantee enough snacks. The San Francisco Intellectual Property Law Association (SFIPLA) is one of the oldest and largest intellectual property law associations in the western United States. 13th Annual Bay Area Diversity Career Fair
The Bay Area Diversity Career Fair attracts hiring representatives from the most prominent law firms, government legal departments, and nonprofit organizations. National Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Bar Association Lavender Law Conference and Career Fair, San Francisco
National LGBT Bar Association hosts Lavender Law® Conference and Career Fair to bring together the best and brightest legal minds in LGBT community. The career fair, held on the first day of conference, draws 500+ students and features 130+ recruiters. After the July 15 registration deadline, registration must be done on-site. Scholarships, Fellowships & Writing Competitions

Justice Stephen K. Tamura Scholarship
UCI School of Law, Office of Student Financial Services is pleased to announce that Justice Stephen K. Tamura Foundation offers two $2500 scholarships, to two UCI law students who demonstrate financial need. Justice Stephen K. Tamura was the first Asian American appointed to the California Court of Appeal. He was a leading citizen of Orange County and an outstanding jurist dedicated to protecting the rights of all. Students interested in applying must have the 2016-2017 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Application on file and submit a one page application discussing how they have overcame  financial barrier to attend the UCI School of Law. The one page application must be submitted to the Student Financial Services  by Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 4:00 pm. Students selected for the scholarship will be directed to the UCI Alumni Association for the disbursement of fund. Submissions can be sent via email to Nasreen Zia.

Sidley Austin LLP encourages all diverse 1L students who would like to practice in law firms after graduation and who plan to spend their upcoming summer in Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Palo Alto, San Francisco, or Washington D.C. to apply. 2017 John Lewis King Memorial Scholarship Application Deadline
We are pleased to announce that the John Lewis King Memorial Scholarship Fund, co-sponsored and supported by the San Bernardino County Bar Association, is now accepting applications from second and third year law students for the 2017 Scholarship. The deadline for application is Wednesday, July 13, 2017, 5:00 p.m. (please, no exceptions).  At least one $5,000.00 scholarship will be awarded. Multiple scholarships may be awarded, based on the number and quality of applications received. More information here.
