Exam Schedule

The tentative final exam schedule can be found here. Please check MyCourses for more details on exact start times and room numbers.

Exam Download Deadline for ExamSoft

Please note that for in-person ExamSoft exams, you must download the exam by noon the day before it is scheduled Failure to download an exam in ExamSoft by noon the day before will leave you with no choice but to use a blue book.  Please be sure to check MyCourses for exam start times and room numbers.

Extended Hours for the Law Library

The library will have extended hours during the reading and exam periods, as follows:

  • Sunday, April 24: 1 p.m. – 11 p.m.
  • Monday, April 25 – Thursday, April 28: 7 a.m. – 12 a.m.
  • Friday, April 29:7 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 30: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 1: 1 p.m. – 11 p.m.
  • Monday, May 2 – Thursday, May 5: 7 a.m. – 12 a.m.
  • Friday, May 6: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Summer hours begin on Saturday, May 7. In addition, no visitors are allowed during finals. This information is also available on the law library calendar:

Study Breaks in the Courtyard

Come to the courtyard on the following days for some food and a quick break! Breaks and meals are open to all students, even if you don’t have an exam or review session on one of the days.

  • Monday, April 25: 12:00 pm, Trail Mix and Fro Yo
  • Tuesday, April 26: 12:00 pm, Pizza
  • Friday, April 29: 7:15 am - 10:30am, Breakfast

3Ls -  Diploma Reminders
Please check the spelling of you name on your campus account.  Your diploma will be printed EXACTLY the way the name appears in StudentAccess and your ID card.  If you want to change your name, you need to submit an official name change request, with the correct documentation PRIOR to the last day of the spring term, May 6th.  If you bring your completed request, with copies of the required documents, to Cynthia at the front desk the Law School Registrar's Office will take them to main campus for you.

Professor Minxin Pei will present a public lecture titled "Collusive Corruption." Professor Pei is the Tom and Margot Pritzker '72 Professor of Government and directs the Keck Center for International and Strategic Studies at Claremont McKenna College. Angela Fillingim (CLS) will present “(Re)Defining Violence: Interpretive Contexts and U.S. Human Rights Policy toward Latin America, 1975-1992.” The Socio-Legal Studies Workshop is an interdisciplinary seminar that meets selected Fridays over lunch (12-1:15 p.m.) in the Law School (Room 3500H). Denim Day - April 27

The Denim Day campaign began as part of an international protest of an Italian High Court decision to overturn a rape conviction because the victim was wearing jeans. The judgment sparked a worldwide outcry from those who understand coercion, threats and violence accompany the act of rape. Everyone is urged to wear denim or a "Why Denim?" button (contact CARE for buttons) on Wednesday, April 27. Each year, individuals, student organizations, staff groups, and departments around UCI participate in a Denim Day photo contest. Submission guidelines can be found on the website.

World's Indigenous Lawyer's Conference (WILC) October 19 - 22, 2016

The conference will be hosted by Seventh Generation Fund in collaboration with NAILSA at the Beckman Center of the National Academies of Sciences & Engineering. Registration for the event has opened and can be accessed at October 19-22, 2016.

UCI Law Veterans Clinic Fundraiser

The Veterans Clinic will be raising money through the Orange County Community Foundation's (OCCF) i<3OC Giving Day on April 27 and 28. Donations made to the clinic are tax-deductible and will be matched with bonus money from OCCF. The event runs from April 27 at 6:00 am until 12:00 pm on April 28. Make a donation here.
