Exam Download Deadline for ExamSoft

Please note that for in-person ExamSoft exams, you must download the exam by noon the day before it is scheduled.  Failure to download an exam in ExamSoft by noon the day before will leave you with no choice but to use a blue book.  Please be sure to check MyCourses for exam start times and room numbers.

Library Announcements for Final Exams

Hours. Library hours are extended from November 30th – December 18th.  Current hours are always available on the library’s website:
Study Rooms.  Do not reserve library study rooms for your take-home exams.  With the exception of the open study rooms,  the remainder of the study rooms are for group use only and have a strict three-hour limit.  Staff will not give keys to individuals, and by reserving a room in advance you are blocking those working in groups from reserving it.
Quiet Study.  The library is supposed to be a quiet place to study at all times, and this is especially true as we near finals.  Please keep your conversations to a minimum and your voices low. Talking on your cell phone is never permitted in any area of the library, including the restrooms, copy rooms, and/or study rooms.  While talking in all areas of the library should be kept to a minimum, the library is designating the California room as a quiet study space effective immediately.
Access. There is restricted access during the Reading and Exam period, which means the library is not open to visitors, including law student guests.  Continue to monitor your belongings at all times, since this is a bad time to lose unattended laptops, wallets, or other valuable items.

Campus Roadway Maintenance

Beginning Monday, November 16, and continuing through the month of December, maintenance staff will be filling and sealing more than 50,000 linear feet of cracks on campus roadways. This work will help protect roads during the potentially wet winter season and reduce future maintenance costs. For the safety of our workers, please follow the warning signage and reduce your speed when traveling in these areas. Roadway maintenance should occur with minimal traffic impacts, however, you might experience intermittent lane closures during the weekends. Information regarding upcoming maintenance work may be found at For questions, please contact Dina Ochoa at (949) 824-0035. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve campus roadways.
