Student Services Office

Student Services at UC Irvine School of Law encompasses the five departments with which our students will have the greatest and closest contact during and after their three years as law students: the Admissions Office, the Financial Aid Office, the Registrar’s Office, the Students Services Office, and the Career Development Office.

All units under Students Services are guided by a philosophy of student-centeredness, which is informed by the following goals:

• To provide our law students with a supportive infrastructure that will enhance an engaged and transformative learning experience.

• To link the services provided to our students to the experiential learning taking place in the classroom, modeling for them the type of relationships we hope they will develop with their clients in the world of practice.

• To create an environment for our students that will support the Law School’s goal of training lawyers for the 21st century, by encouraging them to develop into critical thinkers and agents of change, through modeling a leadership practice that embodies self-awareness, personal responsibility, and integrity.
