Media Advisory: Legal Analyst to Deliver Robinson Lecture on “The Supreme Court in the Age of Obama”

WHAT: Jeffrey Toobin will deliver this year’s Mark P. Robinson Jr. Lecture at UC Irvine School of Law, speaking on “The Supreme Court in the Age of Obama.”

WHO: Toobin, a staff writer for The New Yorker and senior analyst for CNN, is one of the most recognized and admired legal journalists in the country. He has written a number of critically acclaimed, best-selling books, including his most recent, The Oath: The Obama White House and the Supreme Court, published by Doubleday in 2012 and a New York Times best-seller. Toobin earned his bachelor's degree from Harvard College and graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review. He also served as an assistant U.S. attorney in Brooklyn.

WHAT: The Mark P. Robinson Jr. Lecture is an annual lecture series made possible by an anonymous donor in honor of Mark P. Robinson Jr., senior partner at Robinson Calcagnie Robinson Shapiro Davis, Inc., and his generous support of the UC Irvine School of Law. More about the lecture series >

WHEN: The lecture is Friday, April 10, 2015, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Paul Merage School of Business Auditorium. Directions and parking information.
