The UCI Law Library serves the education and research needs of its students, faculty and staff.
Due to limited seating, the Law Library is not available for general study purposes, except for UCI Law students.
All users of the Law Library are requested to cooperate with the Law Library staff in their efforts to provide an opportunity
for everyone to use the materials as needed. Please ask for assistance at the Service Counter.
At this time, the Law Library’s collection is non-circulating. All materials must remain in the Law Library at all times.
Library materials may be returned at the Service Counter or at the Book Return located at the Law Library entrance. All library materials must be returned during normal Library hours.
Please do not re-shelve library books. Instead, leave books on a nearby table or book truck, or bring them to the Service Counter. Materials will be re-shelved by library staff as soon as possible.
Please come to the Service Counter to inquire about lost and found items.
If a fire alarm sounds, please leave the Law Library immediately and DO NOT use the elevator. You may re-enter the Law Library only when the fire alarm has ended.
Restrooms are available on both floors of the Law Library, around the corner from the elevators.
Patrons are strongly cautioned against leaving valuables unattended in the Law Library. Immediately report a theft to the University Security/Police (949-824-5223) and to a member of the Law Library staff.
