Office of Financial Aid

The Office of Financial Aid determines eligibility for institutional financial aid and ensures that eligible students are appropriately awarded federal student aid.

In addition to managing the delivery of all types of financial aid funds, we offer law students financial services in the form of loan counseling, advice on maintaining financial aid eligibility, specialty information workshops and web-based tools to manage an education loan portfolio.

These are some of the subject areas to be discussed in the coming academic year:

  • Strategic use of summer earnings
  • Federal loan forgiveness program
  • Tax implications on gift aid
  • Locating outside scholarships
  • Repairing a poor credit profile
  • Identifying ways to pay for bar exam fees

Our goal is to help students learn the best ways to finance their legal education, while managing loan debt levels. Please do not hesitate to contact us with questions or concerns.
