Why
did you agree to join the University of California, Irvine School of Law faculty?
The opportunity to interact closely with an eclectic and intellectually
diverse faculty and student body was of primary importance in my decision
to accept a joint appointment in the law school. I have no doubt that
the research and educational products to be forthcoming from this new
endeavor will represent the cutting edge of legal research and education
in the 21st century.
Describe a favorite
service project.
I have had extensive experience working with communities nationwide,
as well as with state and federal government agencies, on issues relating
to housing affordability, inclusionary zoning and environmental justice.
What are you most
excited about doing in the first years of the law school?
I look forward to working with the dean and faculty to build a strong
curriculum in all aspects of real estate law (transactions, tax, land
use and entitlements, securities, etc.) which will be of immense value
to both law and business students in the dynamic economy of Southern
California.
