Brendan Starkey
Research Law Librarian for Instructional Services

What excites you most about joining the UCI Law faculty?
The opportunity to work with talented students, faculty, and staff at a dynamic and growing law school.

Why did you go into law teaching? What is your teaching style?
I love the learning process and assisting others to engage in it effectively.

What inspired you to go to law school?
I became intrigued with the law as a discipline while working at an academic library. I decided to take the plunge because I wanted to learn more about the subject intellectually, and I realized there would be many more opportunities available to me professionally with such a versatile degree in hand.

What would you like to accomplish during the first years at UCI Law?
I want to help our students acquire the best education they can before embarking on their exciting new careers.
