William Tate’s practice is concentrated in the areas of commercial real estate, development and lending. He is experienced in the areas of corporate real estate, medical office development and leasing, disposition of real estate-owned property, purchase and sales, master-planned projects and commercial and industrial leasing. He regularly represents foreign and domestic financial institutions, institutional investors, pension funds and advisors, developers, high-tech companies, hospitals and hotel owners and operators. He also represents investment funds acquiring office building complexes and healthcare facilities and related assets.
His commercial lending experience includes the negotiation and documentation of secured, unsecured and asset-based credit facilities, term loans, and revolving lines of credit for the acquisition, development and construction of single and multi-family residential housing projects, industrial buildings, business parks, shopping centers and hotels. He has documented and closed lending facilities involving real property security in numerous jurisdictions throughout the United States, including California, Arizona, New York, Connecticut, Texas, Georgia and Florida.
