Background:

Stan A. Mortensen has served as the General Counsel of both publicly-traded (Corinthian Colleges, Inc.) and private-equity held (Targus International LLC) companies in Orange County, California, where he acted in both business and legal capacities on numerous acquisitions, dispositions, capital raises and general corporate matters.  He was twice nominated for the Orange County General Counsel of the Year award.  Prior to his in-house service, Mr. Mortensen was in private practice with O’Melveny & Myers LLP, where his practice focused on mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance and general corporate matters.  Prior to joining O’Melveny & Myers, Mr. Mortensen was a general business litigator with Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi LLP.  Mr. Mortensen graduated cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, where he was a Lead Note & Comment Editor for the J. Reuben Clark Law Review.
