Dynamic Leadership
Dean Erwin Chemerinsky assembled some of the nation’s top faculty and administrators to collaboratively develop the new law school, building on the best aspects of traditional legal education while elevating legal preparation to more fully meet the needs and demands of the profession today. The Dean’s Advisory Council—composed of numerous national leaders in the profession—provides further support to implement plans for the school, as do the greater University of California, Irvine and Orange County communities, and our generous partners and donors. Our students also will be leaders in helping us shape the direction of the school. Together we expect to redefine legal education for the 21st century.
