Recruiting at UCI Law
The On-Campus Interview Program provides employers with the opportunity to conduct interviews at UCI School of Law. Support for our students comes from a cross section of public-sector agencies, law firms and private-sector companies – some of whom do not interview on campuses elsewhere.
UCI Law holds its On-Campus Interview (OCI) week for 2L students in August. Students choose the employers with whom they want to interview through an online bidding and lottery system that is designed to maximize their choices. Employers may not pre-screen resumes or transcripts.
We also hold on-campus interviews in Spring for our 1L students.
Please contact us if you are interested in interviewing UCI Law students on campus, or if you have any questions about our recruiting programs.
UCI School of Law is committed to a policy against discrimination in employment based on color, race, religion, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
Under University of California policies, the School of Law's facilities are not available to employers whose employment practices violate applicable state or federal law.
All employers interviewing on campus or posting positions for UCI Law students are encouraged to be familiar with the National Association for Legal Career Professionals’ Principles and Standards.
Employers are required to sign a statement of compliance before posting jobs or participating in any on-campus interviewing programs.

“Throughout law school,
students will have the opportunity and be encouraged to use their legal knowledge and skills in public service. The law school will also have one of the most generous loan-forgiveness programs to ensure that those graduates who wish to pursue a career in public interest law are not precluded by student loan debt.”
