Updated ExamSoft Software

Please ensure that you have the most recent version of the ExamSoft software. Note that ExamSoft has a new software – Examplify. You will find the instructions on how to download and install Examplify below. Check this webpage for more information about exam technology. Instructions for installing Examplify:
1) Open a web browser to this page: http://www.examsoft.com/ucirvinelaw
2) Log in under "Exam Takers" using your UCINETID and, in the Password field, your 8-digit UCI student ID number found on your student ID card (e.g. 12345678). [Examplify may use the last password you used in SoftTest.  If you changed your password from your student ID number, please try that to log in.  Once you have successfully logged in, we highly recommend changing your password to something other than your student ID, if you have not already done so.]
3) Click the "Download Examplify" button, then click the "Download & Install" button and run the installation program.
4) After the installation has finished, you will be prompted to register your copy of Examplify. You must be connected to the Internet. Enter the UCINETID and 8-digit student number [or past password] you used in step #2. You will get a message: "Congratulations. Examplify is now registered."
5) To make sure you have completed the installation and registration, open Examplify and run the mock exams.  The passwords for the mock exams are “nonsecure” for the non-secure mock exam and “secure” for the secure mock exam.

Make-up Exam Rescheduling Deadline
Friday, December 1, 12:00 pm

Make-up Exam Rescheduling Deadline
If you need to reschedule an exam for reasons listed in the Academic Rules, you must contact Jennah Jones by Friday, December 1 at 12:00 pm. The tentative final exam schedule can be found here.

Exam Download Deadline in ExamSoft

Please note that for in-person exams, you must download the exam in Examplify by noon the day before it is scheduled. Make sure you download your exams in Examplify and NOT SoftTest. Failure to download an exam in Examplify by noon the day before will leave you with no choice but to use a blue book. Please be sure to check MyCourses for exam start times and room numbers.

End of Semester Review Schedules

The end of semester review session schedules can be found here for 1Ls and here for 2/3Ls.

Library Announcements for Final Exams

Hours: Library hours are extended from Monday, December 4 through the morning of December 20. Current hours are always available on the library’s website: http://www.law.uci.edu/library/

Study Rooms: Do not reserve library study rooms for your take-home exams. With the exception of the open study rooms, the remainder of the study rooms are for group use only and have a strict three-hour limit. Staff will not give keys to individuals, and by reserving a room in advance you are blocking those working in groups from reserving it.

Quiet Study: The library is supposed to be a quiet place to study at all times, and this is especially true as we near finals. Please keep your conversations to a minimum and your voices low. Talking on your cell phone is never permitted in any area of the library, including the restrooms, copy rooms, and/or study rooms. While talking in all areas of the library should be kept to a minimum, the library is designating the California room as a quiet study space effective immediately.

Access: There is restricted access during the Reading and Exam period, which means the library is not open to visitors, including law student guests. Continue to monitor your belongings at all times, since this is a bad time to lose unattended laptops, wallets, or other valuable items.
