Lisa Rehbaum
Director of Finance and Operations

What excites you most about joining the new law school administration?
A significant portion of my career at UCI has been involved in setting up new programs. To be involved on the ground floor of setting up a new professional school is truly an honor and a privilege. I look forward to working with the management team towards creating an innovative and stimulating academic unit as well as establishing an innovative and forward-thinking administrative unit that meets the needs of the students, faculty and staff.

What are you most excited about doing in the first years of the law school?
I look forward to establishing a very efficient business unit by utilizing available technology to streamline processing and financial reporting as much as possible. My major priorities are threefold: developing the school’s policy and procedures for all our business functions to be compliant with the campus, university, state and federal policies; establishing and implementing streamlined and efficient business processes that provide excellent response time to our customers; and developing appropriate tracking metrics for information required for accreditation purposes.

I also look forward to overseeing our current facilities renovation schedule. It has been very gratifying to be involved in developing appropriate and functional space in our building that meets the school’s needs.
