Jinha Park

Jinha Park is the past president of the California Radiological Society. He is active in the largest state chapter of the American College of Radiology as well as in the California Medical Association working to improve access to imaging screening tests and increase the role of diagnostic and interventional radiology. He is a District 14 president, board member, and executive committee member of the Los Angeles County Medical Association. He has served as the Orange County Supervisor District 2 Representative for Michelle Park Steel on the Orange County Emergency Medical Care Committee. Dr. Park also serves on the inaugural Buena Park Police Chief's Advisory Committee. He has served on past Board of Directors of the Korean American Coalition and Korean Churches for Community Development to serve in advancing in medical breakthroughs. He is the earliest sponsor and Organizing Chair of the first Korean American Health Coalition.

Dr. Park obtained his B.A. degree in Molecular and Cell Biology graduating Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Berkeley. He then completed both the M.D. and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Southern California studying a specific tumor associated protein called HER-2 in breast and stomach cancer and developing an antibody against this cancer protein for future diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. After completing his internship at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, he then completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at UCLA Medical Center and a Fellowship in Abdominal Cancer Imaging at Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Park is currently working to develop a digital health start-up company that empowers patients with their own diagnostic test results.
